The short version: We store no medical information. We never sell your data. We use your email and phone only to send the reminders you set up. That's it.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address, an optional first name, your time zone, and a phone number if you choose to receive SMS reminders. We also collect payment information, which is processed and stored securely by Stripe or PayPal โ€” we never store your card number.

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the site (Stripe for payments, Twilio/SendGrid for message delivery) and only the minimum data required for each service to function.

4. Data Security

All data is transmitted over SSL/HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Payment data is handled entirely by PCI-compliant processors. We conduct regular security reviews.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Send logs are retained for 90 days for debugging purposes, then automatically purged.

6. Your Rights

You may request a copy of all data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and all associated data, or opt out of any marketing communications at any time. Contact us at privacy@rememberpills.com.

7. Cookies

We use only essential session cookies required to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

RememberPills is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Parents may set up reminder profiles for their minor children using their own account.
